Movaya's Management Team

As Co-Founder and the CEO, Phil is focused on providing the strategy and vision that will enable Movaya to attain its goal to be a market leading mobile product and services company, as well as directing the fundraising and client acquisition.

Phil has been at the forefront of the explosion of digital content delivery throughout his career. Phil spent 10 years at RealNetworks in various business development and sales management roles, most recently serving as Senior Strategic Accounts Manager in the mobile services unit managing relationships with North American wireless operators and mobile content providers. During his tenure at RealNetworks, he was responsible for closing many of Real’s biggest systems accounts including strategic wins with two of Real’s banner accounts, Sprint and Cingular Wireless. Phil has a BA and an MBA in Technology Management from The University of Washington.

As Co-Founder and COO, John is focused on the overall strategy and vision for Movaya, and directing the day-to-day operational needs of the firm.

John has spent the last ten years in both the business management and technical development sides of product development, product management, ecommerce and website development. He has extensive experience working with scalable, integrated ecommerce software systems. In his last management role, John oversaw the domain name advertising system for eNom Inc., a leading provider of domain name and online services. John has a BA from The University of Colorado, and an MBA in Technology Management from The University of Washington.

Because he likes to share his experiences as an entrepreneur, he has added stories and lessons learned to the Mobile Phone Blog . He has also written quite a bit about the Apple iPhone.

As Co-Founder and CTO, Stanley is focused on both the overall technology strategy of Movaya and the day-to-day management of the software development team.

Stanley has designed the software systems that make up the core of the Platform M system. He is responsible for overseeing all areas of engineering, including site operations and product development, in both the US and China. Additionally, Stanley oversees the operations of Movaya's Chinese office in Chengdu.

Stanley brings over 16 years of development experience to the company, with various specialties ranging from developing computer operating systems to architecting and developing e-commerce systems. Stan headed the development group in the wireless division at Network Commerce and architected and implemented the mobile framework and platform infrastructure.  Additionally, Stanley directed the development effort to extend the existing web model for tournament game play to the mobile framework, and developed a set of WAP games for AT&T Wireless. Stanley has helped build the development efforts at Network Commerce, Zetta Systems and most recently, eNom Inc. Previous to his jobs in the United States, Stanley held software development and engineering jobs in Beijing, China.

As the General Manager of Chengdu Movaya Technology LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Movaya (USA), Mr. Lei is responsible for both the daily operations of the Chengdu office and the management of the software development team.

Before joining Chengdu Movaya Technology, Mr. Lei spent 8 yeas working at Huawei Co. Ltd, the largest computer network device company in China. As a veteran of Huawei, including roles as a software engineer and product manager, Mr. Lei has extensive software development and management. In his last management role in Huawei Co. Ltd, Mr. Lei lead a technical team that designed and developed an innovative IPTV system that was deployed in China.

Mr. Lei holds a BA in Electrical Engineering/Computer Telecommunication from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
